华师初中国际部副主任，英语课程学术总监

In 2017 Professor Harlan Schottenstein accepted the position as the Assistant Director of the International Program, English Instructor at the Affiliated Junior High School of Southern China Normal University, in Guangzhou, China. Before this he taught high school at the Vanke Meisha Academy in Shenzhen, China. At Vanke Meisha Academy he taught English Literature, Critical Thinking, and Public Speaking, a course he also created. Prior to moving to China he worked 5 years with Chinese students attending The Ohio State University, teaching them American Culture, English, and English Listening and Speaking. When not teaching, he enjoys the life, culture, and physical environment of China.

曾任职美国俄亥俄大学教授，也曾在中国深圳梅沙学院执教，于2017年任职华南师范大学附属初级中学国际部副主任一职，致力于学生们的英语学习，课程研究, 从事教学教育工作近30年，对英语学习，文学研究，教学模式有着深入的研究和累积。熟知中国的教学模式，善于引导孩子探究英语文学，从学术英语的学习过程中提高孩子的辩证性思维及演讲能力。热爱生活，喜爱并享受中国的文化环境。
