The purpose of the Continuing Comprehensive Tutorial Course is to cultivate students' autonomy, self-consciousness and self-discipline, and to help students make mature learning decisions for their continuing comprehensive education. Include:
- Provide students and parents with advice and suggestions on overseas learning opportunities and academic curriculum systems to help them prepare for high school applications and admission.
- Help students plan and prepare for high school admission English tests, such as SAT and TOFEL/IELTS.
- To Provide tutorial with students to explore subjects they may be interested in and excel at.
- Introduce western culture, customs, the physical and social environments as well as other topics into the class.
- Introduces the factors that need to be taken into consideration when studying abroad in high school and the means to collect information, so as to help students find the right high school suitable for themselves.
- Offer a sharing session. We will invite graduates to share their successful experiences, and there will be representatives of overseas university admissions officers visiting the school.
- Understand the origin and history of activities, such as Teachers’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and etc., to understand the society, to investigate problems,discover creative solutions through critical thinking, and be brave enough to explore and express themselves.
- To help students connect with the learning opportunities so that you can apply the knowledge and skills you've learned.
In addition, the Continuing Comprehensive Tutorial Course will establishes course activities that combined with other subjects and activities, symphased the system into two sections of "small-class teaching" and "one to one tutorial", in order to adapt overseas study learning model and international teaching atmosphere, students will have English essays/reports and presentations to improve their comprehensive skills and personalities.
- Small-class teaching: guiding students to learn to collect information, and to use critical thinking are factors that should be considered when the students make their decision to study aboard. During the class, students are always play the main role, class activities will provide the stage to students to express themselves, as well as create the peer to peer learning environment for the students , helping and encouraging teamwork.
- One to one tutorial: personalized teaching based on student’s characteristics. Through one to one tutorial, analyze the specific situation of students, help them find and strengthen their advantages, overcome their weaknesses, guide students find their own goals, determine direction and make plans.
